Productivity consultant and founder of Custom Living Solutions, Joshua Zerkel, is also the SF ambassador for Evernote. Let’s just crown him the guy who really knows what he’s talking about when it comes to organizing data and being super efficient at anything to do with sharing in the cloud. Our Social Media Manager, Sarah Buhr, sat down to ask him a few of his great secrets for getting sh*% done.

Tips:

  1. Integrate UberConference with Evernote – When you integrate UberConference with Evernote, you have the option of sending any recorded call and notes to their Evernote account. Very helpful for journalists and writers or anyone who needs to save their conversations for later. Integrate with Evernote here.
  2. Utilize the Cloud – Think about how your data follows you around. Evernote allows you to keep all your files and other data in one central place so you can work from anywhere.
  3. Label your Evernote folders by topic and client to stay organized – You can collaborate with specific people easier if you separate everything out first.
  4. You can actually email notes into Evernote – Secret tip from Josh is that every Evernote user actually gets their own Evernote email. Go into your account settings to see it. Then if you use the @ in the subject line you can specify which notebook you want that info to go to. You can also use the # symbol to tag whatever you want it to follow as well.  Use this for receipts, events, really anything that goes into your email.

We are happy to announce today the UberConference Google Apps Reseller Program. UberConference is a next generation audio conferencing service with a unique, visual interface. UberConference’s new channel partner program will be launching with Premier Enterprise Google Apps resellers SADA SystemsDitoSheepdogLTech andAgosto as its principal partners.

“Partnering with these world class resellers to drive end user adoption was an easy choice” said Craig Walker, CEO and co-founder of Firespotter Labs. “They have a unique combination of qualities – excellent reputations, a strong customer focus, leadership that demonstrates vision, and deep market penetration. Our launch resellers lead by example as the drivers of cloud-based services adoption and we are thrilled to be working with them.”

With its unique, visual interface, UberConference shows participants who’s on a call and who’s speaking at any given moment, and gives all participants access to every other participant’s Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook public social profiles. Features such as recording, dialing out to participants and earmuffs, which allow for sidebar conversations, as well as file sharing through Evernote, are easy-to-use. UberConference continues to introduce features that help businesses be more productive at significantly lower cost, and is investing resources in spreading the word through this reseller channel.

“At SADA Systems, we pride ourselves on bringing innovative cloud based solutions to our current and prospective customers,” said Tony Safoian, president and CEO of SADA Systems. “We are delighted to be partnering with UberConference as their offering fits our profile perfectly.”

Since its beta launch in May 2012, UberConference has significantly expanded its offerings, rolling out its premium service (UberConference Pro), and its enterprise product (UberConference Business), as well as mobile apps available for both iPhone and Android. With the launch of the reseller program, UberConference will increase its ability to engage enterprise customers and to deliver a much needed conference calling cloud solution for Google Apps customers.

At UberConference, we’re constantly looking for ways to integrate with the way you work. One of our most popular requests has been to provide a tool for our customers who use Microsoft Office for their primary work communication.

Our team is pleased to announce the brand new Add-In for Outlook. Adding to our existing suite of integrations, now Microsoft Outlook users are able to organize, schedule and create calls from within the Outlook application.

“UberConference for Outlook Add-In has made organizing meetings a breeze with the new one click to add option. This simple frictionless user experience makes a huge difference when scheduling multiple conference calls in a week,” says Ken Snyder, Practice Lead-Collaboration at CDW. “It just works — and that makes all the difference.”

Simply download the Outlook plugin, login to UberConference from within Outlook, and easily set up your conferences.  Structure and organize your calls from the calendar, a new email, or the UberConference client.

This integration works with Outlook for Windows 7+, 2013, or 2010.
