Need to put a conference call together quickly and not in front of your computer to create an ÜberConference? No worries. Just dial your ÜberConference number to start an “Instant Conference”. Instant Conference allows anyone with the Open PIN to dial into the call without setting anything up ahead of time. And yes, this is another free feature with ÜberConference.

When are PINs needed?

ÜberConference makes joining conference calls simple by using your profile and contact information in your account to send out invites and authenticate callers based on their phone numbers rather than with PINs. The only time we’ll need to ask you (the organizer) for a PIN is when you dial in from a number that is not on your profile (hint: add all your phone numbers to your profile!). Your participants will only need to enter a PIN if their phone number is not in your (the organizer’s) address book. Also, as long as a conference call is not set as “private” in the advanced options, people that don’t receive invites can still call in using the Open PIN, which is helpful for times when you may not know who all to invite to an ÜberConference. Just share the conference phone number and Open PIN to allow people join scheduled or Instant Conferences.
